Stanbridge Earls Improves Network with Xirrus

Stanbridge Earls School in the UK recently deployed Xirrus Wi-Fi Arrays across their campus to improve their wireless network for the students and faculty.

“It is increasingly important that we provide our students and faculty with the latest technology to assist learning and development in the classroom,” said Dean Williams, ICT Manager at Stanbridge Earls. “The installation of Xirrus Wi-Fi Arrays will allow our educators the mobility to take learning beyond the confines of the classroom and better cater to the special needs of our students. With the long range and considerable bandwidth that Xirrus provides, our students will now be able to take full advantage of our entire 52 acre campus, indoors and out.”

Xirrus deployed at Hundred of Hoo School

Xirrus just announced the deployment of their 802.11n Arrays across the Hundred of Hoo School in the United Kingdom.

"Xirrus was able to replace our entire network with only 18 Arrays and allowed us to monitor and manage our wireless network remotely,” continued Sean. "The range, bandwidth, and reliability of our network are incredible! Teachers are thoroughly enjoying the ability to move from one classroom to another without losing their wireless connection. With 1,800 students and approximately 200 staff on campus, we needed a reliable network that would support our high user density and that could be easily managed. Xirrus was the only Wi-Fi company capable of doing all this and more."

Stay tuned for more to come from Xirrus! =)
